Im sure by now you have all noticed the slight change in the air in Tally.
I came back from spring break and I no longer felt like I was living in Alaska every morning walking to my ( am.
The flowers all seemed a little brighter, and when passing Landis I noticed all the new puppies frolicking on the fresh green lawn.
This beautiful sunny and 75 might not be here for long but I intend to soak it all up before the treacherous summer sun comes and forces me back into my cave with my AC cranking.
At Olde Fields we have decided to embrace this beautiful spring time were having with tons of cute new arrivals!
We just received a HUGE jewelry haul from the lovely Amy over at Fox and Fields featuring so many pretty crystals and sweet pastel colors perfect for spring time.
These vegan leather coin bags and wallets are also from Fox and Fields and I can't get over how lightweight and soft they are.
These new joggers are be far my new favorite in the store right now. The acid wash makes them cute enough to pull off for class especially paired with a cute cropped tee and some new jewelry like the denim choker I paired mine with. Did I mention they're also the softest joggers ever. So win win, look trendy to all your classmates while you know you low-key just rolled out of bed.
These new cotton long sleeves are a little bit of old mixed with a little bit of new. We used some of our most loved prints to use not these new cotton tees. They're just light enough to be able to wear all day and just enough that you won't be chilly when the sun goes down( because let's be real the temperature changes Tally goes through every day are insane).
These embroidered high waisted shorts pair perfectly with one of our blank American Apparel crops and this turquoise necklace also from Fox and Fields!
And last but not least we have this adorable custom fringe halter. These are available in so many prints and colors so come in and find one that perfect for you! Also don't forget we do custom orders on all tees and we will acid wash and cut your tee up however you like!!
Thats all for now folks! Come on down to Gaines Street and hang with us and check out all these new goodies. ( the weathers so nice you might even want to walk)
The idea behind cash mob is essentially "Spend a little do a lot".
Local businesses are "mobbed" by shoppers who come I to spend around 20$ each. Mobbers are also encouraged to speak to three people they have never met before.
Typically the money made at these events is put towards bettering the business and surrounding community in some way.
The event is basically a really fun way to network and to shop at some great local businesses.
Here is a link to Tallahassee Cash Mob events including the upcoming Olde Fields Cash Mob:
Hi guys, it's Sunday no longer Friday my favorite day of the week. But that doesn't mean all hope is lost for your day. Come down to Gaines and hang out with us at the Souk and turn your Sunday into a Sunday Sunday. We have all the essentials for a perfect Sunday: brunch, shopping, and live music!
Since I'm at work I could only partake in one of those three activities. But that just means someone has to bring me brunch!
I did get a chance to walk around and check out some of the vendors here today! They are amazing just as I suspected.
Just look at all this vintage wonderful-ness!
Just take all my money okay.
This guy asked that I caption this pic "Someone bring him sunblock please"
So come on down to Gaines street and hang out with us until 6 tonight and get your Sunday Funday on. It's a beautiful day don't waste it binge watching Netflix ( thats what Mondays are for).
Hi Friends, it's Friday. The best day ever invented.
Kevin Hart agrees.
Kevin Hart also agrees that you should come down to First Friday at Railroad Square.
If you don't know what First Friday is you have been missing out.
First Friday at Railroad Square is a gallery hop that happens on the first friday of every month ( hence the name )
There's much more to do at First Friday than just hop around to all the amazing galleries in Railroad square. There's live music, amazing food trucks, and local vendors selling their goods.
First Friday is basically everything that makes Gaines Street and Railroad Square so unique and amazing jammed into one night.
Admission is free, just be sure to get there around 7 if you don't want to fight someone in the parking lot for a spot. ( It's almost as bad as parking on campus)
I hope to see you all tonight as we kick off this First Friday!!
You know what I hate? Being hungry. You want to know what I hate even more? Being towed. The worst possible situation is a combination of the two, which would result in me turning into a hangry food monster.
Fear no more my hangry friends, Tallahassee has come up with the solution to all your problems! (okay just two of them)
I give you The Trolley:
This wonderful free trolley will transport you to all the best lunch locations Tally has to offer. The Trolley does a loop hitting Midtown, Cascades, and Collegetown. A free ride to lunch...and not being towed for forgetting to refill that darn parking meter. Sounds great to me.
But wait it gets better guys, the Trolley also has a night-time route!
The Trolley will run Friday and Saturday evenings from 4:30 p.m. till 1:00 a.m.
Go to Talgov.com/Trolley to see the Trolley's full schedule.
