I hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving. I definitely did. I ate way too much and I'm pretty sure I gained 500 lbs.
I am so excited that we're all about to be deep in the throes of the Holidays. And I'm even more excited to announce that Olde Fields is a drop-off center for the Capital City Youth Services (CCYS) and Going Places Street Outreach Coat Drive.
CCYS describes their mission as "promoting the healthy development of youth and families. They offer counseling and outreach services to youth and their families, and emergency shelter services to youth in crisis. They serve youth and families throughout the Big Bend area of North Florida, including Leon, Gadsden, Wakulla, Franklin, Liberty, Jefferson, Madison and Taylor Counties. All services are free and confidential. All of their programs focus on reaching out and helping youth and families who have found themselves in situations beyond their control. Going Places Street Outreach is a CCYS program that works with youth, 11-21 years of age, who are homeless, run aways and/or sex trafficked.
More information on these two awesome programs is available at their websites:
